Arriving for a high school reunion, Howard Arnell (played by Richard Schaal) is reluctant to take off his dress shoes in the gym, especially after he finds one of his socks has a hole, through which his big toe sticks out. -- "Didn't You Used to Be... Wait... Don't Tell Me," Mary Tyler Moore, Oct. 30, 1971.
Fleeting scenes at the end, of two or three other men standing in the gym in suits and stocking feet, all obeying the no-street-shoes-on-the-gym-floor rule.
