Nike Air Delta Force Hightops, Circa 1989

On his feet every day for at least ten hours, the gleaming Nike hightops are losing their new-shoe smell. The hard-working feet of our man is infusing the sneaks with a pungent aroma equivalent to the locker room of a basketball team. The shoes still look bright but after a few weeks, the shoes will make his bedroom stink when they come off. It looks like they're oversized on our man, who's on the small side. But his feet fill up those shoes and their smell fills up the room.
